Who We Are

Three Makers, One Vision

Arbos Folk is not a corporation. It is not a brand built in a boardroom. It is three people who believe that the things worth making are the things worth making slowly — with care, with craft, and with the kind of stubbornness that refuses to let the modern world dictate how life should be lived.

We are artisans, musicians, writers, and makers. We work with our hands and with our imaginations. And we are building something that goes beyond products or content — we are building a way of life.

Leif
Founder

Leif

Woodworker, writer, game designer, and the restless mind behind Arbos Folk. Leif builds worlds — whether they are carved from oak, woven into fiction, or laid out on a tabletop with dice and maps. He is the author of the Bureau of the Unseen novel series and the designer behind Noblesse Oblige, Songs for the Lost, and Imperium Roma.

His work lives at the intersection of craft and narrative — the belief that every object tells a story, and every story should feel like something you can hold in your hands.

Co-Founder

Simona

Textile artist, needle felter, and the quiet force that holds things together. Simona's work is rooted in patience — the slow, meditative act of shaping wool into form, of turning raw fiber into something alive. She brings the same intentionality to everything she touches, from the crafts workshop to the garden.

She is the heart of Arbos Crafts, and her vision of sustainable, handmade living shapes the soul of the entire project.

Nikole
Co-Founder

Nikole

Musician, composer, and the voice of the land. Under the name Frogsap, Nikole creates music that bridges ancient folk traditions and contemporary classical minimalism. Her compositions don't just describe landscapes — they grow from them, carrying the weight of place and the lightness of breath.

She is the sonic identity of Arbos Folk, and through Sonus, she weaves the rustle of leaves with the resonance of strings into something that feels both timeless and entirely new.

The Village of Arbos

An intentional community. An off-grid headquarters. A place where the Arbos Folk vision comes to life.

We are building more than a brand — we are building a village. Arbos will be an intentional community somewhere in Europe, an off-grid homestead where craft, music, storytelling, and technology converge in daily life, not just on a website.

The country is not yet decided. What is decided is the principle: a place rooted in the land, governed by intention, and open to those who share the vision. A workshop where wood is carved by hand. A studio where music is composed by the fire. A table where games are played and stories are told. A garden that feeds the people who tend it.

This is the long game. And we are looking for others who want to play it.

Somewhere in Europe

The land will choose us as much as we choose it. We are scouting locations across rural Europe.

Off-Grid Living

Self-sufficient, sustainable, and rooted. A life built around seasons, not schedules.

Growing the Community

We are looking for like-minded makers, thinkers, and dreamers to join us in building something real.
