

They Were Never Doors for Us
It starts with a photograph. A polaroid taken at a condemned research facility in northern Finland shows something in the background that shouldn't exist: a vertical seam in the air, glowing the exact shade of arterial red. Bureau analysts dismiss it as a lens artifact. Agent Callum Reese isn't so sure.
Sent to investigate, Reese discovers that the facility was running experiments in spatial geometry — trying to fold space using frequencies that exist below the threshold of human hearing. Something answered. Now the portals are multiplying, each one a wound in reality that bleeds light the color of emergency. And whatever lives on the other side is starting to reach through.
